Statement Condemning Anti-Semitism and Islamophobia

Dear Cal State East Bay community,

In light of continuing developments in Israel and Gaza, and the rise in anti-Semitism and Islamophobia across the U.S., we want to reiterate our support for the safety and well-being of all members of our community who are affected by this war.

We are forwarding this previous message from CSU Chancellor Garcia and Board Chair Wenda Fong that eloquently articulates our own positions as campus leaders. We also remind you of various campus resources available to those who need support. Those resources were outlined in a previous message.

We also ask that you report and share your concerns of discrimination, exclusion, or hate as you encounter them. This is the online anti-bias form for CSUEB.

Finally, we want to express gratitude to members of our campus who continue to care for and support each other even when in disagreement.
