Partnership for University Latine/x Success & Opportunity (PULSO)

Cal State East Bay strives to promote Latinx student achievement through intentional educational policies and institutional practices.

The Partnership for University Latine/x Success & Opportunity (PULSO) is a representative group of staff and faculty members working to identify intentional practices and ways to serve Latinx students. This team will review current Latinx-serving programs and services, identify unmet Latinx student needs, and propose intentional responses to gaps. The partnership began Spring 2023.

Cal State East Bay Earns the Seal of Excelencia for Accelerating Latine/x Student Success

The Seal of Excelencia was introduced in 2018 to recognize institutions that are committed to advancing the success of Latine/x students. On October 1, leaders in higher education, business, and government gathered in Washington, D.C., to honor Cal State East Bay as one of eight institutions receiving the Seal for the first time, joining an exclusive group of just 46 universities nationwide to earn this prestigious recognition.
