State of California Title IX Audit Report

Dear Cal State East Bay community,

As mentioned in my email yesterday, a State of California Audit Report on the CSU System's handling of sexual assault and harassment complaints was released today and can be viewed here. This audit focused on the Chancellor's Office as well as the Fresno, San Jose and Sonoma campuses, though all campuses, including East Bay, provided basic data that can be viewed in appendices to the report.

Along with yesterday's Cozen O'Connor report, this audit further reinforces the need to improve Title IX policies and procedures throughout the CSU System. Again, you have my commitment to continue our work here at Cal State East Bay and to keep you informed as we make progress.
