Timeline for 2024 Campus Climate Assessment

Fall 2023

• President’s Equity Council reviews the summaries of eleven Campus Climate Town Halls held in Fall 2021 where different cohorts of campus community members discussed the findings of the Spring 2021 campus climate survey and shared reactions.
• President’s Equity Council conducted an inventory of activities, resources, and initiatives on diversity, equity, and inclusion aligned with the Campus Climate Town Halls.

Spring 2024

• Hold Town Hall to discuss Fall 2023 inventory of DEI work in relation to last campus climate survey town halls.
• Develop new campus climate survey
• Launch belong@csueastbay campaign to publicize and implement survey
• Administer survey to students, faculty, and staff

Summer 2024

• Analyze data
• Develop report

Fall 2024

• Present results to Cal State East Bay community
• Develop action initiatives
