Publish
Overview
When Cascade CMS pages, files or folders are published, the Cascade CMS sends them to the appropriate web server so that they are "live" for others to view.
- It is possible to publish a single page, a folder or the entire site
- When a folder is published, all the pages within that folder will also be published
- When a new page or folder is created, the parent folder must be published in order for the new page or folder to appear in the left-hand navigation
How To Publish
- Log into Cascade CMS and select your site.
- Use the folder tree to select the page, file or folder that you want to publish.
- Select Publish.
- To publish to the test server, leave the Test option checked. To publish to production server, leave the Production option checked.
Note: To view a page on the test server, simply add "dev" after "www".
Example: If your site is www.csueastbay.edu, the test site would be wwwdev.csueastbay.edu
See our full tutorial on test server links - Select Submit.
If you've followed all the above steps and your page still won't publish, please see the Include When Publishing configuration option.
