Buttons
Overview
Buttons may be added to both the landing page and interior pages to link to internal web pages, external sites, or files.
Example
How To Add Buttons to Your Web Page?
- Log into Cascade CMS and select your site.
- Navigate to the page where you would like to add button(s).
- Select Edit.
- Select the + icon on Main to add a new content type.
- Select Buttons in the newly added content type.
- Expand Buttons > Button.
- Enter the Link Text for the link.
- Add a link to the Button by selecting:
- A Page, a webpage within CSUEB (e.g. www.csueastbay.edu/biology)
- A File such as a Word document or a PDF document
- An External Web Site outside of the CSUEB (e.g. www.google.com)
- Add, Delete and Reorder Buttons:
- Use Green + icon to add more Buttons
- Use Up and Down Arrows to reorder Buttons
- Use Red 'X' icon to remove Buttons
- Select Preview Draft.
- After previewing changes made on your draft, select Submit.
- Enter Comments for changes made.
- Select Check Content & Submit to add changes to your site.
- Select the Check Box.
- When you're ready to go live, the last step is to publish the changes.
