Alameda County CMA Guaranteed Ride Home Program

The Alameda County Guaranteed Ride Home Program (GRH) does just what it says it guarantees a free ride home for employees in the event of unexpected circumstances such as an illness, family crisis, or unscheduled overtime. GRH will reimburse employees who need to take; a taxi or a rental car for their emergency ride home, subject to limits, provided they have walked, biked or taken public transportation or a carpool/vanpool to work. You don't have to live in Alameda County, you just have to work here. Best of all, this program, which is offered through the Alameda County Congestion Management Agency (ACCMA) is a free county benefit for employees. Please note, this service is only for employees that commute to work using alternative transportation.; Employees that drive onto campus, and students are not eligible for the program.

To register, or for more information, visit the Guaranteed Ride Home website or reach them at (510) 433-0320
