Online Maintenance Requests

Making a maintenance request is both quick and easy. Maintenance requests will be processed through the University Housing online portal. When maintenance staff enters your apartment a facial covering must be worn at all times. If you’re having difficulty submitting a maintenance request, please watch our how-to video.

If you would have any questions or would like an update on the status of your request, please email housing_maintenance@csueastbay.edu

Please allow up to 36 hours for maintenance request to be completed. You will be updated through your horizon student email on your request.

Emergency Services and Maintenance

University Housing collaborates with Campus Facilities Department, Environmental Health & Safety, University Police, and contractors for emergency service response beyond normal working hours in the evening, on we holidays, and weekends. For emergency services please contact the housing office at 510-885-7444 or Call the RA On-Duty if service is needed after 5 pm.

Examples of emergency services include:

No hot water
No water
No heat
Flooding or leak
Bodily fluid clean up
No electricity

ALL AFTER HOURS EMERGENCY REQUESTS SHOULD BE BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF YOUR BUILDING’S RESIDENT ASSISTANT ON DUTY.

*Please note that maintenance request submitted on Friday evenings, weekends, and holidays will not be processed until the next business day.
