Bay Area Physical Education-Health
The Bay Area Physical Education-Health Project runs a series of institutes on campus and not only for those in the Bay Area, but for those in the surrounding areas as well. We run a series of workshops on campus in the fall and summer and consult with schools and teachers.
The Bay Area Physical Education-Health Project brings together professors and K-12 teachers in related fields to have academic conversations with regard to effective instructions, linking theory to practice, California subject matter standards, common core standards, English Language Development standards, and best practices as it relates to assessment in student learning. Grants have provided funding for teachers to take advantage of a free 60-hour professional development program, and furthermore professional development training programs are created and delivered to teachers within unified school districts.
