Undergraduate Program
Welcome to the Department of Accounting and Finance at Cal State East Bay, where we offer two undergraduate bachelor degree programs to suit your career aspirations.
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA)
Our BSBA program is designed to provide you with a solid foundation in general business principles and skills, while also allowing you to specialize in a specific area that aligns with your career goals. You have the flexibility to choose from a range of concentrations, tailored to your interests and ambitions. The program structure consists of core courses that help you develop a broad business perspective, and you can further enhance your preparation by selecting elective courses. Concentrations under the B.S. in Business Administration major program include:
- Accounting Concentration (to be discontinued in Fall 2024 and elevated to a full degree program: Accounting and Analytics BS)
- Accounting Concentration (Online Self-Support)
- Finance Concentration
- Finance Concentration (Online Self-Support)
Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Analytics (BSAA)
For those with a passion for accounting, our BSAA program is designed to align with the 2024 CPA Exam, ensuring that you are fully prepared for this rigorous certification. We designed our program to allow you to pursue either a CPA career specializing in business analysis and reporting, tax compliance and planning, or information systems and controls or a non-CPA career in governmental, non-profit, or private industries.
