Community Partners
Alameda County Independent Living Skills Program: Provides youth in foster care with independent living skills training to assist in their transition to a successful, independent lifestyle.
Beyond Emancipation: Administers a full service health center, provides transitional housing, and links former foster youth to education, job training, mentors and other housing.
Chabot College Foster and Kinship Care Education: Provides training and support to those who are or want to become approved resource (foster and kinship) parents in Alameda County.
Chabot College Guardian Scholars Program: Provides resources and support services for Chabot College students who have experienced foster or kinship care.
First Place for Youth: Promotes long-term self-sufficiency among emancipated foster youth by providing them with the skills, resources, and support to make a successful transition to adulthood.
