This year, Cal State East Bay's Pacific Islander Asian American (PIAA) Program, Asian Pacific Islander Student Success Center (APISSC), and Student Leadership & Involvement Center (SLIC) are coming together to develop community among local AANHPI students, staff, and faculty.

MOTION (Meeting Ourselves in educaTION) is an opportunity for local community college students to learn more about AA&PI student services and community at CSUEB. Building upon PIAA's 4 pillars of Access, Allyship, Action, and Aspiration, MOTION is a day dedicated to moving beyond representation and toward understanding what it means for our community to exist and thrive in higher education.

Students will have the opportunity to meet campus programs and resources such as PIAA, APISSC, and SLIC that will support with their transition to the university. The day will consist of workshops, community-building, and a campus tour. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
