Practice logging into your Blackboard account, navigating to the course, and into Zoom. Once on Zoom, you will be placed in a waiting room and you will see the message “the host will admit you into the room shortly.” If you make it to this message, your Zoom is set up and ready to go.

We will start off as a large group for the first 25 minutes then transition into breakout rooms to learn about next steps of orientation, how to get connected, and to meet fellow classmates.
Your family members may be interested in learning how to support you during your transition to Cal State East Bay. They are welcome to sit with you during the large group portion of the Zoom session, but we strongly recommend that students participate in the last 30 minutes (breakout sessions) on their own.
We will also host family specific orientations throughout the summer. For more information, visit the Family Orientation website or email parents@csueastbay.edu
