About Us
WHAT IS HOSPITALITY, RECREATION AND TOURISM?
Hospitality, recreation and tourism (and related fields) are some of the fastest growing global industries. This field includes such specializations as: restaurant and food service; lodging; tourism and travel; meetings and events; community recreation, sports, and aquatics programs; natural resource management; and recreation therapy programs. Employment opportunities are available throughout California, the United States and internationally working for government, profit, and non-profit organizations. Great opportunity for advancement within the field to management positions.
The Hospitality, Recreation and Tourism Department at CSU East Bay prepares students to graduate as leaders in the field of hospitality, recreation, and tourism management as well as recreation therapy.
