Accessibility Accommodations

Graduates and guests with mobility, hearing, or other disabilities that require special accommodations should submit the Commencement Accessibility/Accommodation Request Form.

This request is NOT a reservation. All accessible parking and ADA seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Ceremony Information

The ceremonies will take place in the University Amphitheater. Most of the seating is accessible and parking lots are fairly close to the ceremony site. We will have golf cart shuttles roaming the parking lots to assist graduates and guests to get closer to the ceremony entrances.

Parking

Vehicles with a DMV-issued Disabled Persons Parking Placard or license plate must also have a special commencement parking permit (distributed to graduates) to park on campus for all Hayward ceremonies.
