The CCC currently offers services via Zoom (a video platform) and in-person sessions.

Welcome to the Community Counseling Clinic (CCC) at California State University, East Bay where our mission is to provide no-cost, high-quality counseling services to the members of our community and to promote social justice and democracy by preparing knowledgeable and competent helping professionals.

The CCC functions both as a community counseling clinic and a training facility for its graduate-level professional counselors-in-training who are enrolled in the University's Educational Psychology M.S. in Counseling Program working to acquire the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to earn their Marriage and Family Therapy license. The CCC does not provide 24-hour support or mental health diagnosis or evaluations. In cases of emergency, please dial 911.

The CCC follows the University instructional calendar and is open when trainees are in session during the fall, spring, and summer terms. See the University Calendar: HERE.

When contacting the CCC:

  1. DO NOT leave emergency messages.

  2. Phones are not staffed full-time, so expect delays in response time (2–3 business days).

  3. Please note that the CCC is closed during semester breaks, and calls will not be answered during these times (spring break and breaks between semesters).
