About

The Cal State East Bay It’s On Us team is a collective of students, faculty and staff who are working together for change. Representatives from ASI, Recreation & Wellness, Student Conduct Rights & Responsibilities, Student Health & Counseling Services, University Housing & Residence Life, Clery Compliance Team, Athletics, University Police Department, Title IX and University Communications come together to provide programming and resources. Resources

Campus Resources:

  • Title IX Reporting: You may report to the campus Title IX Coordinator any incident of Sex Discrimination, Sexual Harassment, or Sexual Violence (including Rape, Acquaintance Rape, Dating Violence, Domestic Violence and Stalking). 
  • Confidential Advocate: Crisis counseling and advocacy for survivors and those impacted by sexual violence including: sexual harassment, dating and intimate partner violence, sexual assault, stalking and sexual exploitation. This program serves the entire campus community; students, faculty, staff and affiliates.
  • Student Health & Counseling Services: Fully accredited outpatient clinic staffed by Board Certified physicians, and licensed nurse practitioners, nurses, and counselors. Student Health & Counseling Services offers basic medical care for most illnesses and injuries and various elective services.
  • University Police Department: Professionally trained police department fulfills the public safety needs on the Hayward and Concord campuses and one mile beyond their borders.

  • BAWAR: Bay Area Women Against Rape, a non-profit in Oakland, provides support to survivors. 24-hour hotline (510) 845-7273
  • It’s On Us: The mission of It’s On Us is to build the movement to combat campus sexual assault by engaging all students, including young men, and activating the largest student organizing program of its kind in grassroots awareness and prevention education programs.
  • RAINN: RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization.
  • National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC): NSVRC provides research & tools to advocates working on the frontlines to end sexual harassment, assault, and abuse with the understanding that ending sexual violence also means ending racism, sexism, and all forms of oppression.
  • MISSSEY: MISSSEY works to prevent girls and gender-expansive youth from ever entering circumstances of sexual exploitation and violence. We also support young people who are experiencing exploitation to exit.
  • Love Never Fails: Restoring, educating, and protecting survivors of human trafficking and their community.
  • Peace Over Violence: Building healthy relationships, families and communities free from sexual, domestic and interpersonal violence.
  • White Ribbon Campaign: White Ribbon USA's mission is to reduce and prevent domestic violence and engage more men supporting all efforts to end gender-based violence and discrimination towards women. 
  • No More: The NO MORE Foundation is dedicated to ending domestic violence and sexual assault by increasing awareness, inspiring action, and fueling culture change.
  • Joyful Heart Foundation: The mission is to transform society’s response to sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse, support survivors’ healing, and end this violence forever.
