Cal State East Bay’s Nonprofit Management Certificate Program will act as a community partner for the upcoming Board Match event in San Francisco. The Board Match offers an impactful networking opportunity for people interested in serving on a local nonprofit board of directors. Participants will get a chance to meet face-to-face with executive and board leaders from a variety of Bay Area nonprofits, ranging from the arts and youth to the environment and social justice.
The event will host approximately 150 nonprofits, including: A Home Away From Homelessness, Ability Now Bay Area, Art Works for Change, Breast Cancer Action, First Graduate, Global Alliance for Health, Mission YMCA, San Francisco Aid for Animals, Super Stars Literacy and more.
The Board Match is produced by The Volunteer Center — an organization that serves San Francisco and San Mateo counties by connecting individuals and businesses with opportunities and resources to support their local communities.
The free event will take place from 5-7 p.m. on March 2 at the Hilton San Francisco, Union Square. Interested candidates can pre-register for The Board Match event here.
