Cal State East Bay’s Certificate in Online Teaching and Learning is open for fall enrollment.
Participants will learn how to become an effective online educator or trainer, and learn how to create teaching materials optimized for virtual classrooms.
Since 1998, Cal State East Bay has offered a flexible approach to empower teachers and trainers with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively design and teach online courses.
The program consists of four classes, including Introduction to Online Teaching and Learning; Teaching Models for Online Instruction; Technology Tools for Online Instruction; and Designing Curriculum for Online Instruction. The deadline to enroll in the first class is Sept. 13.
No application is needed to enroll in the Certificate in Online Teaching and Learning program. Applicants who have a bachelor's degree, teaching or training experience, and can satisfactorily complete the coursework are welcome to enroll.
