Cal State East Bay Continuing Education recently earned a bronze award for its newly designed website from the annual Educational Advertising Awards. The Educational Advertising Awards is the largest educational advertising awards competition in the country, and this is the first time CSUEB Continuing Education has won an award from the competition.
Sponsored by the Higher Education Marketing Report, this year marked the 30th anniversary for the national competition, and over 2,000 entries from over 1,000 institutions were submitted. CSUEB Continuing Education received the bronze award in the category "Internet/World Wide Website."
Judges for the Educational Advertising Awards consisted of a national panel of higher education marketers, advertising creative directors, marketing and advertising professionals, and the editorial board of Higher Education Marketing Report.
The new Continuing Education website officially launched in September 2014 and revolves around a "student centric" concept — giving the best possible experience to the student by maintaining a balance of professional and personal content, and providing information in the most efficient way possible. The revamped site includes access to the latest career data and job forecasts, real student success stories and program outcomes, presented in an overall intuitive design.
