CSUEB alumna is new Administrative Services Director of the Moraga-Orinda Fire District

Cal State East Bay alumna Gloriann Sasser, MPA (’06), is the new Administrative Services Director of the Moraga-Orinda Fire District. Prior to joining, Sasser worked in finance for the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District, the City of Walnut Creek and Maze and Associates, Certified Public Accountants.

She has experience in local government finance, budget preparation and auditing and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1995. Sasser is a 2012 graduate of Leadership San Ramon Valley.

Sasser currently serves on the Government Finance Officers Association’s Special Review Committee for the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting Program. Sasser also teaches finance courses for the Special District and Local Government Institute.
