Cal State East Bay’s Concord campus will be welcoming freshman and transfer students during campus orientations planned for July 25, 26 and 27.
Over 300 students and parents are expected at the Concord campus where they will meet professors, classmates and current student leaders from Nursing, Health Sciences, Liberal Studies, Business, Psychology, Sociology and Criminal Justice majors.
Marguerite Hinrichs, Director, CSUEB Student Life and Leadership Programs; encourages all students to attend orientation. “Orientation is designed to help students make a smooth transition into University life. Attending orientation gives freshman and transfer students the unique advantage of connecting directly with essential campus services and academic support resources.”
Orientations at the Concord campus include a panel for parents, financial aid information, tips to navigate CSUEB systems, campus resource guides and club information. Orientation is the best way to get started at the University. Students planning to attend the Transfer Orientation on July 25 or Freshmen Orientation on July 27 should register through MYCSUEB. Parents, guests, alumni and volunteers are encouraged to attend as well. Non-students can register online or call 925-602-6700 to register.
