CSUEB observes Autism Awareness on April 23

April is Autism Awareness Month and Cal State East Bay and the CSUEB Department of Communicative Sciences and Disorders are celebrating by hosting a panel discussion from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23 in room 102 of the Old University Union. The panel will feature both students and faculty members discussing the many aspects of autism. 

Joining students on the panel will be Sharon Buckley, a lecturer in the Department of Math and Computer Science, and Shubha Kashinath, assistant professor in the Department of Communicative Sciences and Disorders.

The CSUEB chapter of the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association will host a table providing supplimental information to that presented during the panel discussion, in an area adjacent to room 102.

No reservation is required to attend the panel discussion and admission is free. Complimentary food and beverage will be available.
