For many teachers, the desire to change a child’s life is the main motivation in their choice of career. Often times, though, many find that change is more immediate and noticeable from an administrator’s position. California State University, East Bay’s Master of Science in Educational Leadership is designed for educators who wish to become leaders in education at the preschool, K-12, adult, or community college levels.
Our online-only format makes this program accessible for anyone in the world, not just those in the San Francisco Bay area.
Students can look forward to a hands-on, rigorous curriculum in which both the instructors and fellow students provide detailed feedback on each student's work. Graduates of the program will be able to explain major theories of organizational leadership as well as understand management skills related to school law, finance, and professional development, as well as demonstrate skills required of educational leaders.
