festival flyer for CSUEB Professor Emerita of International Management Loretta Graziano Breuning's one woman comedy performance at the San Francisco Theatre Festival.
CSUEB Professor Emerita of International Management Loretta Graziano Breuning has combined her academic research on the mammalian brain with her love of animals into a one-woman play. Her debut performance will be at the San Francisco Theatre Festival at 11:50am on September 30.
“I, Mammal How I Evolved from Lizards, Apes, and Thugs” is the comedy version of Breuning’s book, I, Mammal: Why Your Brain Links Status and Happiness (System Integrity Press, 2011) in which she investigates the mammalian appetite for social dominance.
Do zoos remind you of your relatives? Is your family history weirdly similar to the Origin of Species? If you said “yes”, then attend Breuning’s solo performance at Youth with a Mission (YWAM) 357 Ellis Street, San Francisco. Admission is free. Visit the festival Web site.
