CSUEB to recognize 22nd Anniversary of Americans with Disabilities Act July 26

Cal State East Bay will recognize the 22nd Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) from noon to 3 p.m. Thursday, July 26 in University Union 311. Awards and food will be offered. Speakers include:

    Linda Nolan, CSUEB Director of Equity and Diversity Risk Management and Internal Control

    Katie Brown, CSUEB Director of Accessibility Services

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 is the most comprehensive federal civil rights law that protects qualified individuals with disabilities from discrimination and provides for equal access and opportunity. Former President George H.W. Bush signed the ADA into law on July 26, 1990.
