CSUEB professor to discuss economics curriculum on WestEd webinar

Economics Professor Nan Maxwell will participate in a webinar Dec 8 hosted by the Regional Educational Laboratory West (REL West) at WestEd. The program will detail research findings from the study, Effects of Problem Based Economics on High School Economics Instruction (PDF) with Maxwell providing an overview of the Problem Based Economics curriculum, developed by The Buck Institute for Education.

The keynote presenter will be Neal Finkelstein, Principal Investigator for the Institute of Education Sciences' approved and published report on which this webinar is based. Finkelstein will present an overview of study findings.

Maxwell also serves as Executive Director, The Human Investment Research and Education Center in CSUEB's College of Business & Economics.
