The Pioneer bookstore and CSUEB Student Life & Leadership will host bestselling author and leadership guru Steve Farber on November 9th at 6pm in the multipurpose room of the New Union. The event is free.

Farber is the president of Extreme Leadership, Incorporated, an organization devoted to the cultivation and development of Extreme Leaders in the business community. He will discuss his recent book, Greater Than Yourself: the Ultimate Lesson in Leadership, a Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestseller. His book has been described as "a powerful and inspiring story that shows how the goal of a leader is to lift others higher than themselves. A great leader will encourage teammates, employees, and colleagues to become more capable, confident and accomplished than they are themselves."

Farber's presentation will be followed by a book signing and light refreshments. His book is on sale at the Pioneer Bookstore in advance of the event and will also be available the night of the event.
