Student artists show work May 18-June 3 in University gallery

An imposing “Terra Cotta Warrior” – the first such piece by the artist, and the pen and ink, "Please Repeat, Please Repeat," by a fellow student, will be among the creations in the Annual Juried Student Exhibition opening Tuesday, May 18 in the University Art Galley on the Hayward campus.

As is tradition, the opening reception and award ceremony will be a barbecue and potuck from 5-7 p.m. May 18 behind the A&E building gallery. Attendees are asked to bring a dish to pass. Those with last names beginning with A-I should bring a side dish, J-Q’s should bring a dessert, and R-Z’s should bring salads.

The free exhibition will be open from 12:30-3:30 Mondays-Thursdays through June 3 (except May 31).
