Rain can't stop Pioneer Pride

Although Tuesday's East Bay Idol competition had to be moved to the University Union on account of rain, talented Pioneers still came out to audition for the chance to sing at this week's Homecoming games.

Congratulations to the winners, Ashley Soriano (freshman, pre-nursing) and Karen Fremont (grad student, speech pathology). Karen will sing the National Anthem at the women's basketball game vs. Humboldt State at 5 p.m. Wednesday; Ashley will sing at the women's basketball game vs. Sonoma State at 5 p.m. on Friday.
