Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a national level board of education for public and private schools in India, controlled and managed by the Government of India. Under a pilot project a limited number of CSU campuses will accept CBSE examinations toward general education credit beginning in Fall 2024. Each of the selected CSU campuses participating in the pilot determines how it will apply these examinations toward credit at their institution. For students not already certified in GE (General Education), the campus also determines how to apply credit from such exams toward the local degree requirement. Please see our datasheet for more information. Below is the list of approved CBSE exams by California State University, East Bay for students applying for academic year 2024-25.1
