The New Employee Orientation Program
The New Employee Orientation (NEO) Program is the first step in welcoming new hires to CSU, East Bay. Its main objective is to familiarize new employees with the University, its organizational structure, its policies and procedures, and to enable them to get a better understanding of their benefits and the various benefits options available to eligible new employees. In addition, the orientation provides detailed information about Human Resources, Payroll, Health and Safety, University Events, and University Police. The objective of the session is to provide new employees with all the pertinent information they need to begin working at the university and to familiarize them with University policies and procedures.
NEO is normally held on the third Thursday of the month.
* Please Note: New Employee Orientation is a mandatory training for all new employees. Please call our main HR number at 510-885-3634 to enroll in one of the upcoming orientations.
