Students and Parents

While students are many times the beneficiaries of private support, parents and families often choose to support Cal State East Bay with a gift to scholarships and programs that are meaningful to their university experience. 

Students

Each year, graduating students have the opportunity to leave a legacy behind at Cal State East Bay by contributing to a class gift. This campaign will support students directly through student research and scholarships.

Parents

Please see our university-wide priorities to support your favorite college, department or program, or for ideas about where your gift can make a difference.

Parents and families can also support their favorite programs several times throughout the year—during Giving Tuesday, direct appeals by email or mail, or simply by making a gift online through our secured online form.

Please note: Gifts may be made to support departments and programs, but not specific students. 

Matching Gifts: Does your employer make your gift twice as nice? Many companies match their employees’ charitable contributions on a dollar-for-dollar or more basis. Check today to see if your employer matches your gift to Cal State East Bay. 

Corporate and Foundation Support: Many parents lead companies and hold key volunteer positions on boards for organizations whose missions align with Cal State East Bay. 

Other ways to give include providing for the university in a planned or estate gift, donating gifts-in-kind or gifts of securities, and parents who work for Cal State East Bay can contribute through payroll deduction.
