3 EASY STEPS TO APPLY AS A TRANSFER APPLICANT

1. Apply online and pay the application fee:

1. Complete your admission application at Cal State Apply.
2. Pay $70 nonrefundable application fee.
3. Print and keep the confirmation page. We no longer accept paper applications.

Make sure you have these items handy to ensure a smooth application process:

• Unofficial transcripts - You will be asked to enter all courses you’ve completed, those currently in progress, and any you plan to take before transferring
• Your Social Security Number (if you have one) to assist with financial aid process
• Credit card number to pay for your application fee

1. Monitor your Horizon email address and Future Pioneer portal for transcripts and needed documents
2. Transcripts must be submitted one of three ways:
   1. Electronically
   2. Mailed directly by the school to 25800 Carlos Bee Boulevard | Hayward, CA 94542
   3. Hand-carried in the original sealed envelopes to Cal State East Bay's Enrollment Information Center located on the first floor of the Student Services and Administration (SA) Building on the Hayward Campus. You can also deliver it to the Academic Services Center on the Concord Center
3. Test scores (Advanced Placement Exam, International Baccalaureate Exam, and CLEP Exam) must be submitted to the Office of Admissions to be evaluated and have college credit awarded accordingly

• Get familiar with our free and hands-on academic support resources.
• Identify your outreach counselor. Their job is to help you through the remainder of the admission process.
• Check your to-do list to verify the steps you’ve done and steps you still need to do to complete in the admission process.
