We are delighted you selected Cal State East Bay to redirect your application to and look forward to helping you with the redirection process for the Fall 2024 application period.

As a redirected applicant, you will be conditionally admitted to Cal State East Bay based on self-reported information when you previously applied to our sister CSU campus. This information, however, has not been verified and you MUST submit official transcripts to verify your eligibility before you can register for classes at Cal State East Bay no later than 7/1/2024. Registration already started so the earlier your transcripts are received, the earlier your hold will be cleared in order to register for classes.

Is housing still available at this late day?
Students interested in living on campus are encouraged to apply as soon as they accept their admissions. Although there is no "deadline" to apply, spaces may be limited as the beginning of the semester approaches. Students who are looking for specific information regarding housing availability at any given time may contact the Student Housing office at housing@csueastbay.edu or 510-885-7444.

Will I have enough time to submit documents for my admissions process?
We understand that going through another application process may be stressful. As a redirected applicant, you will automatically be conditionally admitted to Cal State East Bay based on self-reported information when you previously applied to our sister CSU campus. This information, however, has not been verified and you MUST submit official transcripts to verify your eligibility before you can register for classes at Cal State East Bay no later than 7/01/2024.

Accept your admission offer
Upon receiving your conditional notice of admission, you need to accept your admission offer letting us know that you’ll be attending Cal State East Bay. Here are the steps for you to do so.
First, log into MyCSUEB and select “Accept Admission” in the list of links on the left. Follow the screens as indicated. Once you have accepted, you will be prompted to pay the $110 required non-refundable pre-enrollment fee
Then, follow the instructions on how to make the payment on the CashNet window. Please note, if you press cancel, the acceptance of admission will not be finalized.

Plan for Orientation

Check Your CSUEB Email Address
Set up and begin checking your Cal State East Bay email account, called a Horizon account, with your NetID and password. It’s important to regularly check this account for important information including your academic status, classes, fees, and financial aid.
Send Your Transcripts and Scores
Mark your calendars! Final official transcripts are soon! Be sure to check MyCSUEB for a current listing of transcripts and required documents still needed to complete your file. For information on how to submit, you can visit our How to Submit Documents page.
Also, please have official test scores sent to CSUEB from testing agencies if you haven’t already done so.

Land a Student Job
There are lots of jobs on campus—part-time and full-time—plus opportunities off campus through Pioneer Jobs. Also, many students receiving financial aid qualify for federal work-study, a way for students to earn money to pay for school through part-time jobs. If you are eligible, you will see the work-study award on your award letter.
Join a Club
It's easy to walk across campus and run into someone you know, thanks to our 120 student clubs and organizations (including Greek life, and cultural, academic, and recreation groups).
